Why have I bothered to mention One’s Senses?
    BECAUSE…
When one fails to use judgement and/or FAILS to look at the differences of anything.
To QUESTION the why, the what, & the where
    LET ALONE!
The who, when, why & HOW!
    So
    Having spewed all that.
I simply want to point out the Difference between Education and the MAL-education (that goes on) by the BOMBBARDMENT!!!
    Of too much non-essential information
    (random facts, figures and who-gives-a-fuck)
    Many times Bullshit
    Information.
    Sooooo
    By a show of hands.
WHO thinks our current ….ahhhh…. Standard Level of Edcation
    Is ...let’s say...Sufficient?
    Beneficial…
    Non-Detremental
(how far down can i go with this)
    SUB
    Standard
    OK. I dared say it.
    Sub-standard.
    (Shit a can of worms)
    OK. forget it.
Let’s stick with the one before it….
    NON-Detremental.
    OK?
    Is that “fair”?
    SHIT….another can of worms.
    Help.
    I am sinking…………..
So yeah. If it’s at least non-detrimental to my very own flesh & blood.
Then perhaps i might send them.
Assuming i had resources enough to actually PAY for market-value child-care.
So yeah! There’s the community center
    THANK GOD!
And the Fine people who worked there to
Guard and protect our little loved ones….
That we must leave with them because
    Life is sooooo damn expensive.
    Isn’t it?
    Holy Trinity!
And that’s where they got us folks.
    Between a Soft fiat-currency
    And a digit.
    Ouch!
    No Gold There!
Nothing to see here...move on folks.
    Or FORWARD!!!!!!!1!!!!!1!!1!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
    To the original point
(i want to formaly Thank You for reading this far.THanks! :)))))))
    Point Being.
    That the POINT of Be-ing.
    In School.
    Or ANY where.
    Is that.
    We should learn something.
    Right?
    8 hrs a day.
    5 days a week.
    While your …..PARENTS
(if we can call them that)
    Left you.
    To fend for yourself
In the soft grips of Oblivion
    At that Institution.
    They call
    School
    Kindergarten was not THAT bad.
That part most kids seem to get through Ok with the ABCs and 123s.
Plus plenty of play-time, naps, and fun activities.
Up to about the End of Primary School.
And into the Jr. & High School time

THAT is when they hit you right between the eyes with a BUNCH of USELESS INFORMATION!!
Which, to my ooooohhhh let’s say 50 years of viewing this here thing,
    Not as an educator
Or In the Business sort of speak.
But as a parent who had to make decisions based on economic ability.
That doesn’t mean i was lacking in the basics of life, but enough so that
We could afford private child-care without probably giving up the ability to survive,
    Let alone thrive,
In our chosen place of living.
I am sure Many other people, today perhaps more-so than before, had to make the
Same calculus for their child’s care vs. the time they need to “make a living”, earn enough
To pay for the current price of living in that area. Hawaii. Oahu.
    Not the cheapest place.
    But i digress.
The Point being that (big breath)
They Dump so much Useless information on you, us, our kids
    That it numbs the senses.
Ahhh back to THAT word again!!
And once our sensi are so ….numbed.
They don’t seek out much information on their own...willingly…
As much as i think is natural of children K-6 are… and K-12 WOULD be
If their senses weren’t so numbed.
If, as Aristoracies would have it,
    Oops!
    I meant “Aristole” in think.
    OH!
Let’s not go there, right now at least, follow my mind-numbing adventure to Nowhere Land!
    Sounds like work doesn’t it?
I mean, Especially after being fed pacifiers & pats on the back for 10-20 years.
So after all that bullshit they call Education
    (I call Edumacation)
Is neither black nor white, but in my humble opinion it is more towards the black.
And i say that NOT to disparage or despirit schools, but to point towards an ideal.
Nothing is as one wants it to be in this world.

But if there is no standard in Education then what are we to do!?
    Ahhhh….Learn?!
    That’s right.
Little kids at that age need the structure of the class in group learning the basics of our literate culture. Some will thrive and some will dive, but that’s another topic.
But that doesn’t mean not to have standards.
But seems as though our education system could be better.
    Ok.
    Done with that.
So What are we talking about here?
The Bombarment of Information dump loads on the Table Rosa of our child’s brains, not so much in Kindergarten, but from Jr. High Onward.
    How?
Overload. Too much useless information that dulls our senses and numbs the organimis.
Child in this case, from wanting to proceed with such behaviors in the future.
Much like a cattepillar, a rat, or a monkey will learn behaviors based on rewards and punishments received in the course of it’s...training.
So if one were to barrage an organism, the child, with constant information that is not trivial, but very damn close to it when you are young, active & curious about your environment, people, sports, sex and societal structures,
Those are the maturing years of a sentient being.
    Does that make sense?
The time when hopefully a person becomes more aware of what they like, dislike,
And choose actions and paths that will lead them towards those goals.
They are probably not thinking in these terms, but sounds right to me.

If one has a Big Desire to pursue a topic or pursuit of one’s own choosing, and would like a guide or teacher to guide or even help-out the young adult, then they are very lucky if their teacher has the time, let alone the interest or ability, to be more than cursory help to this …
    big child. Young person.
I am sure it happens all the time
And That’s why teacher are so great that they can and do reach out to the children
And do help them in many ways, much more than the standardized system ever could.
Because it (the education system of standardized education, or whatever name they may call it)
Is not meant nor built to encourage, let alone not stunt, the natural learning Ability of young adults in the Jr-Sr High School range.

    THAT would be ideal.
And we are nowhere land near there.
But are we at least Doing no Harm to their inclination towards learning?
Thinking. Choosing, Pursuing, Learning, Doing. Solving, Progressing…
To places that They (as a class or individual) they wish to learn about
    By choice. Beyond the standard.
ANd you might say they do.
More likely on their own time if it is not one of the electives available.
So that pretty much leaves out shop class in most schools.
    Or agriculture in most high-schools.
Ok the robots can do that.
    And music in many schools.
Who wants their kid to be a musician anyway! Am i right! Talk about the Doobie Brothers!
    And nuclear physics
Well, math is pretty well covered cause most kids don’t excel at it it seems.
Ok, but what about the young adult that wants to learn about electriciy beyond a book?
    Or the mechanically inclined?
Except for sports it’s pretty much heads in a chair absorbing lectures.
That was my experience of it.
Just a bunch of useless information.
Until it was about something that, for whatever reason, interested me enough to care enough about to listen to with real interest.

So my point is that the Edumacation System sucks, doesn’t provide for the capacity of children to explore, learn and grow in an idealized version or what an educational facility might look like.
And if different standards of what is important and mandatory to teach to our young adult/children were applied, then they could grow and learn more rapidly and enthusiastically, because they are pursuing a course of study that is more relevant to their being here on planet earth, than what is typically allowed in most high schools today.
Due to budget concerns of course one can’t have everything.
    God know i know that.
But if the daily time were spent more on electives and less of the mandatory curriculum, which again my point being that much of it is useless garbage that purports to sharpen the young student’s acumen, intelligence, reasoning ability, and good common sense, but in my humble opinion does NOT do such a service, but rather dumps heaps of useless knowledge, facts and plenty of figures in a subtle, but brazen attempt to subjugate the masses.
    Did i just say that?
    Holy shit.
I meant to Subterfuge the Masses.
    Ah...not better.
Ok. How about Subconscious the Masses.
    Yeah.
Numb them into a drone-state so that they will subliminally accept the mythos & platitudes of the state. I don’t really know if they are doing that, just sayin’, the lectures & “Learning” can go on for hours about the minutiae of a particular person, in a particular place, etc, etc.. teaching the History, and the Form & Flow of the People and Events,
But they pretty much fail when you want to learn about something that is of substance and concern to a young person who is expected to find their way in the world, and contribute or die.
So, yeah. I think education could very well be improved, and is probably doing a dis-service and harm to young adults in this country.
    Perhaps most countries.
I think the Magnet Schools were a great step towards that.
But the problem is, as i see it, too much bullshit required for Standardized Education, so that it leaves very little time for one’s own investigative learning.
Unless you had an awesome school with a myriad of vocational & professional options.
Most do not as i see it.
Please let us know if you did have an awesome school experience.
    That would be a kick-start.
But to end the prison sentence of young beings sitting as desks, listening to mind numbing Blabbage that they are expected to memorize and recompile (no matter if they care about it)
    Or Fail.
Or limp through with perhaps having a subject or two they really took interest in.
So by allowing these young adults to choose their own subjects of interest, even
If not in the standards list, and setting goals for them to acheive within that sphere,
Then it seems much more fair to grade them on their actual accomplishment in a particular line if inquiry or interest, than on the usual History, Math, English, and perhaps Arts available in MOST Public High Schools. I would hope the Private Schools have much more to offer in course diversity.
With such a narrow view of Education we currently have,
The barrage of data has numbed the minds so much that the child-person doesn’t assert one’s will anymore. Or like the elephant tied to a chain by birth.
Creating a Pavlovian habit of not questioning much of anything.
A Toxic Shock Syndrome where after such long exposure,
    They blank.
Kinda go numb to it all.
    Just to survive it all.
It’s really not anywhere near what I would a good learning experience.
Nor vital survival skills for the urban or suburban jungle.
